• Account Information: When you register or sign in to Jawbio, we collect basic profile information, including your email address and full name provided by your authentication provider.
• Job Search Data: We collect and store the specific job listings, profiles, keywords, company names, and tracking statuses that you actively parse, capture, and save while using our platform, Chrome Extension, and Apple Shortcut.
• Technical and Usage Data: We automatically receive basic technical information required for site security and performance, including your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system details, and session data. We also collect behavioral data regarding how you interact with our website (such as page views, clicks, scrolls, and navigation paths).

2. How We Use Your Data

The information we collect is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes. We use your data exclusively to authenticate your account, provide and maintain your personal job-tracking functionality, deliver service notifications, respond to technical support inquiries, analyze user behavior to improve our user interface (UI/UX), and ensure platform security.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal information, job search history, or saved job data for targeted advertising.

3. Chrome Extension Operations

Our Chrome Extension operates strictly on demand. The extension only reads content on supported job board pages when you explicitly activate or click the extension interface to extract and save job details. The extension does not track your background browsing activity, monitor your activity on unrelated websites, or collect passive data while you browse the internet.

Our use of information received from Google APIs, where applicable, adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Services

Jawbio may use essential cookies, session tokens, and local storage required for authentication, security, and core functionality.

Product Analytics & Session Replay: We use third-party analytics services (such as PostHog, hosted in the EU) to understand user behavior, identify bugs, and improve our product. To achieve this, we utilize Session Replay technology, which records how you interact with our web interface. Strict Privacy Controls: All sensitive input fields, passwords, and personal text you type are automatically masked on your device before transmission. We never see, record, or store the actual sensitive data you input into our forms.

We may also use other third-party service providers for authentication, hosting, and data storage. These providers may process information on our behalf as needed to provide their services. You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time by enabling the "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature in your browser settings or by using standard ad-blocking extensions.

We retain your information while your account is active and the information is needed to provide Jawbio.

Accounts with no sign-in activity for three years may be deleted along with their associated data.
